Welcome to my Rosemaling Web site
Norwegian Rosemaling (or Rose painting translated) has been around since before the 18th century
There are many different styles of Rosemaling, but I am purely a beginner and carrying on the family traditions.
I was born in Oslo Norway and grew up surrounded by the beautiful art of Rosemaling. I currently reside in a small county, Cornwall, in the far south west of the United Kingdom. I live here with my partner, who is British,my step children and our baby son.
I am a stay at home mom, and Rosemaling gives me so much pleasure, I just thought I would share a little of it with you.

Updates
As this site is brand new, with the wrapping still coming off it, I would ask you to keep popping back to see when new things get added.
The site has been created on the 16th of April 2001 and new projects are in the pipeline and will be added as soon as the paint has dried.
Update 1****** A local 4 * Hotel, wants to display my spice racks in glass cabinets in the hotel foyer, with a view to supplying any guest who want to purchase any of the pieces.

Rosemalers Unite
I am hoping that all other Rosemalers, or painters of other Folk or decorative Arts will contribute to this site, giving people a chance to see the beauty and skills involved.

All prices are set and if you want details send me a mail stating the item that you are interested in, the amount that you require, the country to which you want it shipped and the currency you would like to pay in. I will send you an e-mail stating the cost of shipping and exchange to that country, and then all you have to do is confirm.
